Mircules ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications (including HAM QuickLog, DX Cluster, and other Mircules apps) and website.

  • Log Data: Callsign information, QSO details, frequencies, signal reports, and other amateur radio contact data you enter within our apps.
  • Location Data: If you enable location features, we may collect GPS coordinates to calculate distances or determine your grid locator.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and improving our apps.
  • Analytics Data: We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage data, device identifiers, and performance metrics to help us improve our apps. We do not use this data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell this data to third parties.
  • Contact Information: If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and any information you provide.

Local-First Data Storage

Your log data is stored locally on your device. We do not store your logs on our servers, and we do not have access to your log data unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud synchronization in our iOS apps, your log data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and secured by Apple according to their privacy policies. We do not have direct access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may integrate with third-party services when you explicitly enable these features:

  • Callsign lookup services (QRZ.com, HamQTH.com)
  • DX Cluster networks
  • Log upload services (Clublog, eQSL)
  • Cloud storage providers (iCloud)

Data is only shared with these services when you initiate the action. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our apps and services
  • Sync your data across devices (if you enable this feature)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Improve our apps based on anonymous usage patterns
